The Poison Swamp is an environmental element in Bloodborne.
Description[]
The poison swamps are large swamps filled with gigantic Great Ones' tombstones.
Toxic subtance and gases continually leaked from the decomposing corpses in the tombstone, making the area swampy and poisonous.
The swamp is highly gasous and poisonous. Stepping into the swamp will continously build up Slow Poison. Still, the swamps also have their own ecosystem, having evolved to tolerate the harsh condition of the swamp.
Location[]
- Iosefka's Clinic:
- This underground swamp is small and has Tomb Mould growing around, suggesting the tomb must be an accident and perhaps belongs to the Chalice Dungeons carved beneath Yharnam. The swamp houses many Parasite Larvas, waiting for an unsuspecting prey.
- Nightmare Frontier:
- This swamp is very large and has a variety of fauna and flora. Lumenflowers grow in abundance here inside the many cave systems, where they act as lanterns illuminating the area. This swamp is also home to the Crawlers and the large Wandering Nightmares.
- Hintertomb Chalices
Note[]
- Stepping in the pool will gradually build up Slow Poison.
Trivia[]
- Its name is tombstone swamp in the official artwork.
- Perhaps the Choir first discovered the Lumenflowers in the wild in a poison swamp.
