An Illusion is an online game mechanic in Bloodborne.
Description[]
An illusion is a white phantom of another player who is playing the same map online. Observing them may give you hints on how to proceed or the presence of any hidden enemy in the area, as they are playing in real time.
Notes[]
- Illusions cannot be interacted with.
- Players will often stop in their tracks when seeing a phantom, as doing so will allow to preview what might be about to happen.
Trivia[]
- There is a cut enemy, the Hunter Ghost, that looks exactly like an illusion.
- Illusions appear slightly after real time. It is possible to see yourself or a host dying after you just invaded.
