Description[]
In-Game Description
- The eye of a blood-drunk hunter. Its pupil is collapsed and turned to mush, indicating the onset of the scourge of beasts.
- A hunter who goes drunk with blood is said to be taken by the Nightmare, destined to wander forever, engaged in an endless hunt. It is a fate that no hunter can escape.

- It is given to the player by the Messengers, after defeating Vicar Amelia.
Use[]
The Eye of a Blood-drunk Hunter allows the player to warp directly into the Hunter's Nightmare, via the Amygdala outside Oedon Chapel.
Notes[]
- It is identical in function to the Tonsil Stone.
- Picking up this item will prevent The Doll from praying at the headstone, where the Old Hunter Bone is obtained, and saying her 'O, Flora of the Moon, of the Dream' dialouge, as such dialouge is only spoken when she is praying at said headstone.
Trivia[]
- Most Yharnamites cover their eyes, and so do a lot of other Hunters. Some notable characters like Father Gascoigne, Retired Hunter Djura, Afflicted Beggar, Blood Minister, and Simon the Harrowed are among these characters. Perhaps they do this so that they do not reveal their blood-drunk state. This likely stems from the fact that the Amygdalas, beings that are invisible to all except those with tremendous amounts of Insight, started to abduct blood-drunk hunters into the Hunter's Nightmare.
