Defector Antal is a Co-Operator in Bloodborne.
Description[]
Defector Antal is an Old Hunter NPC who can be summoned to aid players against The One Reborn and Darkbeast Paarl.
As his name suggests, he is a defector from the School of Mensis, and his motivations as a defector might very well be in undoing the many evils performed by Mensis.
Antal dons the Yahar'gul Black Set, and wields the Church Pick and Flamesprayer.

- Summoning Antal will not allow you to summon Yamamura.
Trivia[]
- He was definitely a former kidnapper for the school, as those who don the Yahar'gul Black Set are explicitly tasked with doing so. Perhaps it was these actions and the constant increasingly immoral action of the School of Mensis that made Antal go back on his allegiance.
- He is armed with the Church Pick, which suggests he might have switched his side to the Healing Church or the Choir.
- If it is true that Iosefka was once a member of the School of Mensis (as her Iosefka's Blood Vial can be found in Nightmare of Mensis), then there are at least two defectors from Mensis.
