In-Game Description
- Root chalice that breaks multiple labyrinth seals.
- This cursed chalice makes a special ritual possible, but must not be used lightly, as the resulting transformation can be utterly drastic.
- The old labyrinth was carved out by the Pthumerians, superhuman beings that are said to have unlocked the wisdom of the eldritch Truth.

- Cursed Pthumerian Defilement (Defiled Chalice):
- Obtained by defeating the Watchdog of the Old Lords.
Use[]
The Cursed and Defiled Root Chalice can be used at a Ritual Altar to create the following Chalice Dungeons:
- Pthumerian Defilement - Use only Basic Materials in the Chalice Ritual.
- Fetid Pthumerian Defilement - Include only Fetid Offering Rite Materials in the Chalice Ritual.
- Rotted Pthumerian Defilement - Include Rotted Offering Rite Materials in the Chalice Ritual. (Can include Fetid, but not Curse Rite Materials)
- Cursed Pthumerian Defilement - Include Curse Rite Materials in the Chalice Ritual.
